Friendly service with a smile. Probably glad for the money. Mackintosh bar seems to have ten people inside at the most any time I have attended during the week. I think it serves food during the day until just after the lunch rush. Seems like 'an old ma's pub' as the saying goes and must thrive on its regulars but you're never made to feel anything but welcome. There is a function suite available for weddings, christenings, funerals and parties of all sorts. At the weekends the bar is busy but not so busy it takes ages to get a drink and there's still always a friendly atmosphere. A much loved bar.
Just walked out of mac's. It was on fb the 2 game were going to be on tonight. The celtic game was on OK. But when it came to the Rangers game the TV was put on mute. That's not 2 games that's 1. Not be back. I've drank in 6 years and that's never happened.
