Was very busy... deffo... front of house staff... were each an everyone lovely... that busy.. could imagine the kitchen was chaos...
Excellent food, good service by friendly staff. And the sun was shining in through the window. One could imagine it was the Med. Pretty good for a January day in Scotland!
I was disappointed in this restaurant. The menu is much as one might expect from a large pub/restaurant chain with a wide range of burgers and deep fried stuff on offer. Sadly, the execution is mostly poor and I found the food unappetising, especially so when I learned that they fry in palm oil. One bright spot was the steak which was surprisingly good. Many of the menus and table tops are horribly sticky and the seat cushions are grubby - yuk.
It was really busy when we visited. Staff were running about and there were no clean cups for coffee after our lunch. Waited ages for dessert and eventually gave up. I thought the food was fine - just not enough staff on duty to cater for everyone.
Great Christmas Day meal with the family. Very generous portions on the plate so no need to ask for extras. Food was cooked perfectly and tasted really nice. Members of staff were busy but were really nice and looked after us whilst we were there. Great atmosphere as well.
